As Principal of Rosa Parks Elementary School I would like to welcome you to our site.  At Rosa Parks we embrace a diverse community of learners within the Mankato Area Public Schools (MAPS). We value partnership with parents and our community. 

Every day, students walk through the doors of Rosa Parks Elementary School filled with excitement, dreams, and enormous potential. Our responsibility is to provide a first-class education that will empower them to follow their dreams and continue to grow as members of our community.   Rosa Parks opened its doors to our community in 2010. 15 years later we are excited to continue our educational  journey  by becoming a STEAM school.  We will increase student engagement as we continue to teach our students the state standards and we embrace our STEAM focus emphasizing Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math.    

At Rosa Parks Elementary School we believe that we are champions for every child.  We are committed to believing in each child and  educating them to the fullest.
