I grew up in Duluth, Minnesota and ventured south to Mankato to attend college at MSU. I began teaching in the Mankato schools in 1987 as a substitute teacher. I have spent time teaching pre-school, kindergarten, second grade, fourth grade, fifth grade and sixth grade. I've enjoyed something about each of the age groups that I've taught. This is my third year at Rosa Parks and I'm thrilled to be a Puma!
My wonderful husband Tom and I have a blended family with five children who keep us busy. Zack is attending MSU-M, Matt recently moved out of the "nest," Ben is attending NDSU, Taylor is attending MSU-M and Allie is in 6th grade at Franklin. Things are starting to slow down a bit for us since we don't have all the boys in sports anymore!
When I have free time I enjoy spending time outdoors. I especially enjoy fishing and going to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. I also play golf, enjoy hitting some of the bike trails in the area, and absolutely love playing hockey.
